BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- Two Boise men have been booked on aggravated battery and robbery charges after they allegedly beat a man with brass knuckles, a baseball bat and told him to take off his clothes.

The Ada County Sheriff's Office says a victim had been at a party on Taft Street along with Kenneth Bowers, 32.

Investigators say Bowers and the victim had been at a party on Taft Street in Boise earlier in the evening Thursday. Bowers apparently told Patrick C. Brown that the victim was there and asked him to come over.

Bowers and Brown claim the victim owed their friend money.

Investigators say Bowers, Brown, another adult male and an adult female told the victim he needed to repay the money owed. When the 25-year-old said he didn't have the full amount, the group told the victim to take a drive with them.

Officials say the five drove to a parking lot in the 3100 block of East Greenbrook Street. Bowers, Brown and the other male passenger forced the victim out of the car and began punching him with brass knuckles and closed fists.

Andrea Dearden, Ada County spokeswoman, said one of the men also used a baseball bat to hit the 25-year-old more than a dozen times, including blows to the head.

After battering the victim, the suspects demanded he remove all of his clothing. The group took the 25-year-old's clothes and his backpack containing nearly $500 in cash and left the area.

Detectives say Bowers disposed of the victim's clothing, the baseball bat and pellet gun he had in his possession. The suspects kept the man's backpack and later hid it in a relative's garage.

Police were able to track down Bowers and Brown at a gas station on Liberty and Fairview.

The victim was treated and released from an area hospital.
