Man tried to swipe computer from shopper outside store: BPD says
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - An 18-year-old Boise man has been booked into the Ada County Jail on allegations that he tried steal a computer outside a store over the weekend.
Boise Police says the suspect, Ridge Johnson, attempted to grab a computer that had just been purchased by a shopper at a retail shop on 8th Street in downtown Boise on Saturday.
BPD says the victim told authorities that Johnson came up from behind and attempted to grab the computer. The device fell to the ground and Johnson later ran off.
Detectives were able to track down Johnson after an investigation. He's been charged with robbery.
