BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - A Boise man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman at the Boise Towne Square Mall back in May has pleaded guilty to various charges related to the case.
According to court records, Gregory Macho pleaded guilty Wednesday to battery with intent to commit a serious felony, aggravated battery and destruction of evidence. A kidnapping charge was dropped.
Court documents say Macho used force intended to do bodily harm "by grabbing and twisting her head and neck, covering her mouth, licking and/or kissing her face, and grabbing her breasts."
Police say Macho then stopped his assault and ran back to his pickup truck.
Before driving away, though, police say he appeared to intentionally swerve and hit a second woman who had come to help, sending her to the hospital with serious leg and hip injuries.
Macho's sentencing has been scheduled for December 20.
Officials say Jessica Macho, 28, and Richard Macho, 29, helped Gregory Macho hide and avoid arrest following the attack and were charged with aiding and abetting and destruction of evidence. Investigators say the pair helped alter the appearance of Gregory's pickup truck, which was caught on surveillance camera fleeing from the scene.
Richard Macho is also facing child porn charges in a separate case.
