Slingshot vandals busted after causing $30K in damage, BPD says
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Two Treasure Valley men have been arrested after they used slingshots to cause nearly $30,000 in damage.

Boise Police says about three weeks ago, officers received reports of more than 90 cases of vandalism.

Police say Devon Anderson, 21, of Boise, and Tyler Bartlet, 20, of Nampa used slingshots with steel marbles to break windows of parked vehicles, homes and other targets.

"This is an expensive crime, but there is an additional cost to the innocent victims who discovered their vehicles have been damaged for no apparent reason," says neighborhood contact officer Terry Weir. "Boise is a family oriented community and this kind of random senseless crime really effects our neighborhoods."

The suspects have been charged with felony malicious injury to property.
