Cops bust illegal poker club, four arrested, BPD says

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - An illegal poker club has been busted and four people are now facing charges.

Boise PD says it started receiving tips about possible illegal gambling about a month ago. On Tuesday, officers served search warrants at two locations - the 4400 block of W. Emerald and the 4700 block of W. Emerald.

Officers say they found poker tables, chips, cards and ongoing poker games where the organizer accepted cash for poker chips in an apparent for-profit gambling operation.

Several people were playing in the games and were cited and released on misdemeanor gambling charges. BPD says it arrested David A Deboer, 32, Jo Anne Lough, 60, Timothy Lough, 59 and Travis J. Lough, 33 for running the illegal games. All faces misdemeanor charges of gambling.

Officers say the investigation into other possible locations where illegal gambling may be occurring is ongoing.
