Burglar on the loose after crashing vehicle into building

NAMPA, Idaho (KBOI) -- Officials are looking for a burglar who ran away from police after crashing into a building earlier Monday.

Sgt. Tim Randal with Nampa PD says the Canyon County Sheriff's Office was investigating reported burglaries when deputies found the suspect vehicle, which lead them on a pursuit.

The driver ended up in Nampa and crashed in the 400 block of 9th Avenue North. Two suspects ran from the scene. Police were able to nab one of the suspects and taken them into custody, but the other is still unaccounted for.

Police are currently at South Sugar Avenue and South Sugar Loup. Several rifles were reportedly taken in the burglaries so police are being extra careful.
