Man sexually assaulted tied up 10-year-old girl, police say
BURLEY, Idaho (AP) — A 34-year-old Burley man faces several felony charges after a 10-year-old girl told investigators he tied her up and had sexual contact with her in February.
The Times-News reports Gregg Neal Bedke is charged with kidnaping, sexual abuse, lewd conduct with a child and battery with intent to commit a serious felony.
The girl's mother told police she sometimes left the child at Bedke's house when she needed a baby sitter.
Bedke pleaded not guilty on Dec. 14. A preliminary hearing is set for Friday in Magistrate Court. The Idaho Department of Correction website lists Bedke as an inmate.
Bedke was convicted in June 2007 of felony aggravated battery after a man reported Bedke shot him. Bedke was sentenced to two to 10 years in prison.

So, he shot someone, no less, was convicted in 2007, didn't serve the full 10 years for shooting another human, and now he's raping kids ? Another great example of what is wrong with our penal system. It costs too much to house these sub-humans in the good 'ol USA. So the best thing to do is contract out our prisoners to either North Korea, China, Russia (SIberia), or a muslim country. It'll cost the USA less $$ and if the prisoners make it out alive, they'll truly appreciate the freedoms and rights law abiding citizens of the USA have.
