Footprints in the snow lead Idaho police to alleged car burglar

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) - Police in Idaho Falls say footprints in the snow led them to the home of a man who had burglarized parked cars.
KIFI-TV reports officers followed the footprints that went from vehicle to vehicle parked along the street Monday morning until they ended at a residence.
There, officers arrested 20-year-old Cade Thomas Dixon on a charge of burglary. He was booked in the Bonneville County Jail.
Police say Dixon tried to enter more than 100 vehicles. Most were locked, though a small amount of cash and a GPS unit were taken from two of the vehicles.
