BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Boise police are trying to figure out what caused a vehicle to roll and crash into a building at the corner of Cole Road and Northview Street in Boise just before 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Investigators don't yet know how fast the car was going, but say this was a high speed crash. No other cars were involved in the crash, but there was damage done to the sidewalk and the building which houses Northview Dental Center.

"There is curb and all kind of stuff down there that they obviously ended up striking," said Boise Police Lieutenant Bret Quitler. "About 150 to 200 yards down there is where it looks like first impact. We have our crash team who comes out and reconstructs what happens."

That crash team was on scene for several hours and might take until around 5 a.m. which would impact some morning commuters. Both the driver and passenger were taken to St. Al's hospital, but the extent of their injuries has not yet been released.

This is a developing story so be sure to check back for all the latest updates.
