BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The Treasure Valley could see its first significant snowfall of the season beginning Christmas evening.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the Treasure Valley beginning at 5 p.m. on Christmas.

The NWS says valley locations could receive anywhere from two to four inches of snow. The advisory is through 11 a.m. on Wednesday. | Full Forecast

Wind gusts could bring blowing snow. Temperatures are expected to be cold enough that the snow is expected to stick to the ground.
