Customers overlook tense Trader Joe parking issues

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Trader Joe's is officially open. The new store is right smack in the middle of downtown.  While the rush is on to check out the new place parking has become an issue. The store has only 80 spaces and those are shared with Panda Express and Chipotle Grill.

That didn't stop new customers from stopping by. "Oh it was crazy out here I had to go around the block about three or four times probably spent a good fifteen minutes, but people are excited about it they want to see this place come to Boise. I've been waiting for it for a long time," Ezra Hein said.

Police were on hand when things got tense as drivers were turned away because the lot was full.  "One of the kids earlier got yelled at by some lady she's been around three times or something, I don't know," said Stephen Gabbard who works the lot.

Police urge customers to use the parking garages nearby.  Police will be on hand to help throughout the weekend.
