Stolen poodle with orange mohawk spotted on cam with thieves
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Recognize these two people?
Police say the two women were seen with a stolen poodle with an orange mohawk.
On Friday, Boise PD says officers say a small poodle was left in the bed of a pickup truck while the owner went inside to shop. When the dog owner returned to the vehicle, the pup was gone.
The black toy poodle, according to Facebook, is named Dallas and is valued at more than $1,000. The pooch has an orange mohawk down its back. A Facebook page titled "Find Dallas" has more than 460 likes.
On Saturday, officers received a call from citizen that he may have seen the dog with two females at the Walmart on 12th Avenue in Nampa.

According to the witness the suspects purchased dog related items at the store and then left with a dog that matched the description of the stolen poodle.
Anyone with information about these two suspects is asked to call 343-COPS.

OK Haters, first, if you can remember back to last Friday, it was 60 degrees outside. The dogs travel with their owner all the time; they travel as a pack and they love it; she has built car seats for them in the past even. These dogs are extremely well taken care of and as olderwiser mentioned she is a professional groomer and uses only nontoxic nonharmful animal dies. She only ran in for a minute, locked her truck, but cracked the back window of her truck as it was warm for fresh air! The thieves coaxed Dallas out the back window into the bed of the truck and then took him. Wow, the hate was too much to ignore here!
Leave a little poodle in the cold while they "shop". Â Uh huh. Â The Orange mohawk, very impressive, says a bunch about the owner. Â Hope this little dog has a loving home now.
I agree with you completely! It does not matter what "tittle" a person holds if they lack good judgement and common sense. A "toy" poodle in this weather? alone? The police warn people about packages in plain sight especially around the holidays? This is a little life that depends on being protected.
@josie  The dog was coaxed out of the back truck window into the bed of the truck and then they stole him! The owner is a professional master groomer and operates her own shop. That's a really bad comment. Please don't be negative and make assumptions, when you do not know the whole story. Learn to be compassionate; not judgemental.Â
Toy poodle. Cold weather. Left in the bed of a pickup. Orange mohawk. A true animal lover if ever there was.....sounds more like a rescue than a theft.
