EAGLE, Idaho (KBOI) - Emergency crews responded to a crash involving an SUV in Eagle Friday morning.
The crash happened at the intersection of Horseshoe Bend Road and State Street in Eagle just before 4 a.m.
Investigators say the driver of the SUV hit a traffic signal pole. Eagle Fire officials say extrication was required. The driver of the SUV was taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
"He was more trapped than what we usually see, so it took more work to peel away the metal and stuff to get him free," said Eagle Fire Capt. Brian Fendley.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.
