Driver drifts off road, slams into power pole

Nearly 1,000 customers lost power Wednesday afternoon after officials say the driver of a vehicle hit a power pole at about 2:15 p.m. after drifting off the road. She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Power has been restored.
