Lumber fire lights up Cascade sky
CASCADE, Idaho - A fire at a wood processing company overnight lit up the Cascade sky.
Firefighters from multiple agencies were called out to South Fork Wood Products at around 11:30 P.M.
Chief Jim Hass, with the Cascade Rural Fire District, says the fire was in a shed used to store finished product. It was completely destroyed.
Hass says arson has been ruled out, but the investigation continues into what started the blaze. Hass says the owner does have insurance.
