Coroner releases identities of two women killed in crash
NAMPA, Idaho (KBOI) – Two women died in a rollover crash late Tuesday night on Interstate-84.

Idaho State Police say two women were traveling northbound on Happy Valley Road in a 2009 Chevy Corvette. The driver lost control of the vehicle, crossed the Garrity on-ramp, rolled about a 100 yards before catching fire on the barrier of I-84 eastbound.

On Wednesday, the Canyon County Coroner's office identified the women as Lauren Desaree Lane, 24, of Nampa, and Christa K. Anderson, 22, Middleton. Both women died of blunt force trauma.

Witnesses say they rushed to help by pulling one person away from the vehicle, but they couldn't get to the other person still trapped inside.

Both people in the vehicle died from their injuries on scene. A section of I-84 eastbound and the Garrity on-ramp were blocked for about four hours.
