Horseshoe Bend superintendent on leave due to personal reasons
HORSESHOE BEND, Idaho - High school principal and Horseshoe Bend School District superintendent John Cook has been placed on administrative leave.

The school board made the decision Tuesday night.

Officials say the board made the decision that was in the best interest of the district. The board cited personal reasons, but did not elaborate.

"We have every confidence in our excellent staff to continue the operations of the district and to support and educate our students," the district said in a news release.

A special board meeting will be held on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. to address leadership for the rest of the school year.
