BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- It's been a while since Idaho drivers had some good news about gas prices.
But we've got a little good news to share.
Although it's still north of $3, Idahoans are starting to see some relief. Idaho AAA said Tuesday that the Gem State has seen a 26-cent decline in the last month -- the nation's biggest drop.
"Lower prices are a welcome relief for Idahoans who are juggling tight budgets during the holiday season," said Dave Carlson, AAA Idaho spokesman.
The good news gets even better, though, for drivers in Kuna. According to Gas Buddy, drivers at the Sinclair station at 331 Ave D & W 3rd St are paying $2.99 a gallon. The cheapest gas in the state is $2.84 in Idaho Falls.
Idaho's average price for a gallon of gas is $3.15, down 26 cents in the past 30 days. Last year at this time, drivers were paying $3.43 a gallon.
