Butcher knife, frying pan used to threaten victim, BPD says

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - A 54-year-old Boise man has been booked into the Ada County Jail over allegations he threatened another man with a knife and frying pan.
Boise Police says officers were called to a home on W. Boise Ave. near Chrisway Drive at 8:27 p.m. Monday for a reported fight with a knife. The victim, who said he feared for his safety, locked himself in a room and called 911.
Officers helped the victim safely out of the home.
BPD then found the suspect, identified as James A. Westberry, who appeared intoxicated in a back room. After investigating, officers found evidence the suspect had used a butcher knife and a frying pan to threaten the victim.
He's been charged with felony aggravated assault.
