Interstate 84 eastbound closed Saturday night
BOISE, Idaho -- Due to the dangerous driving conditions and multiple crashes on Saturday night, the eastbound lanes of I-84 were closed between Cloverdale and the Eagle on-ramp.
Starting at around 5 p.m. Saturday, emergency crews were sent to 13 weather-related traffic crashes. Officials said that three were rollover crashes and 4 were side-off.
Due to dangerous road conditions and multiple crashes along the stretch of I-84, the Ada Sheriff's Department closed down the highway to eastbound traffic.
The roadways were reopened at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
Officials from the sheriff's office urge drivers to use caution and drivers to maintain proper following distances as slippery roadways make it harder for cars to stop.
Keep the rubber side down and the sunny side up. Drive slow, start stopping early, think, it hurts if you don't. and you loose all the time you made up getting this far,   65 run at 50, 50 at 40, 40 at 35, 35 at 25, start stopping early. worked  50 years for me.  Â
