Man suspected of prostituting toddler for sex to be indicted
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - A 40-year-old Boise man is scheduled to be indicted by a federal grand jury for posting a Craigslist ad advertising sex with a 3-year-old toddler, the U.S. Attorney's Office said Friday.
Prosecutors say Jason Lloyd Schaber posted several Craigslist ads online seeking sex for himself as well as the child. One of sex ads stated "desperate times calls for desperate measures." He's scheduled to be indicted Feb. 19.
"The facts in this case are quite disturbing," prosecutors said in Schaber's initial court appearance last year.
The indictment also includes 22 other charges related to production, distribution and possession of child pornography between 2010 and 2012.
One of the ads, prosecutors say, had a graphic description of the prostitution plans with the child.
"Hurry before your once in a lifetime opportunity passes you by," the ad stated.
The advertisements were apparently spotted by a local citizen who then alerted police.
Schaber, who said he has two children, has been charged with felony lewd conduct with a child as well as soliciting a minor for prostitution.
Prosecutors say a laptop was confiscated from Schaber's residence that featured multiple images and videos of graphic child porn. On the media were 2-4 year-old children being sexually molested by grown men, officials say.
Officials say there are potentially other victims who are being treated for injuries and being interviewed. Additional charges are forthcoming, according to prosecutors.
The toddler, who is known to Schaber, is in the custody of the state.

I hate children, what's the big deal? That shooting that happen in Newton; it didn't bother me. I just laughed about the situation and even praised the shooter. I hate a lot of things, but that doesn't mean I would a harm a child or anyone myself. Stop overreacting and enjoy what life throws at us. I know I do! :)

And, isn't it amazing: even criminals hates child molesters & abusers?  He will either enjoy his journey to the prison yd. or be put in solitary confinement (all alone to deal w/ his demons).  He may need to be protected from people just like his abusive self, so he's not molested to death. (but "we do reap what we have sown")
what the hell is happening to the people in this world. Please explain how in the name of God a child elicit a sexual response in anyone. God I hope these kids heal and can forgive him. Pray for them. I know he gets the opportunity to walk the yard when he gets to prison. wishing hi luck when he gets there.
