Man charged in deadly Arrowrock Reservoir crash

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- The Wash. state man who police say lost control of his vehicle and drove into Arrowrock Reservoir back in May has been charged.

According to court records, Lawrence Lutton, 31, of Lowden, Wash., has been charged with felony vehicular manslaughter as well as driving under the influence.

Idaho State Police says Lutton was driving on Arrowrock Road about eight miles east of Highway 21 when his vehicle left the road and went into the reservoir.

Two-year-old Riley Lutton died as a result of the crash.

According to an Idaho Transportation Department report, Lutton's blood alcohol was .092 after the crash. He is scheduled to be arraigned in court Aug. 11.
