Former school counselor denies child porn dealings
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - A former Meridian Middle School counselor has denied that he was part of a group that had dealings with child porn, court records say.

Mark Saltzer, 45, was arrested by Boise Police back in August. This week he pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of possession of child porn.

Prosecutors say police found 390 files of child pornography on one of the computers. A majority of the files were abuse of boys aged 7 to teenage years.

There were also illegal images of females, including one child that was 18 months-2 years old, prosecutors say.

A 17-year-old boy was also found at the house. He told police he had been sexually abused by Saltzer multiple times in the past few months.

Saltzer is being held on a $1 million bond.
