MERIDIAN, Idaho (KBOI) - A crash in Meridian sends three teenagers to the hospital Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened at the intersection of Meridian Road and Lake Hazel. Ada County Sheriff's Office says a Hyundai Accent was driving west on Lake Hazel and collided with a Ford F150 driving north on Meridian Road.
Deputies say there is a stop sign at the intersection, so westbound traffic is required to stop, and yield to traffic on Meridian Road. Investigators say the 18-year-old girl who was driving the Hyundai failed to yield and collided with the truck.
The 18-year-old driver and her two passengers were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford, a 56-year-old woman, was not hurt.
The intersection was shut down early Saturday afternoon, but is now open.
