BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries after getting struck by a vehicle Monday.

Boise Police says the incident occurred at South Biggs Street, which is near S. Curtis and Overland Road just before noon.

The motorcyclist, a Boise man in his 30's, who has not been identified, was traveling west on Overland. The driver of an SUV, a Boise woman also in her 30's, was traveling east on Overland and turning north onto Biggs. The vehicles collided in the intersection.

The injured man was not wearing a helmet, police say, at the time of the collision, although officers found a helmet strapped to the back of the motorcycle.
