BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - It was a long awaited homecoming for a squadron out of Mountain Home Air Force Base.  Hundreds of families showed up to see their loved ones finally come home. The 366th Fighter Wing came back from a deployment after they left back in April.

The Fighter Wing deployed out oversees to SW Asia and it's been a long time for some anxious family members. "They're excited, Jackson wants to go golfing with daddy when he gets back. And I think there just excited to see him and not in a computer anymore.  That's what it's been like the past few months?  Yes they think daddy lives in a computer," said military wife,Casey Hefferly

And when the Airmen deplaned there were hugs and kisses all around. Especially for Brandon McCullough and his fiancé. "It's like Christmas and your birthday and new year's all those great holidays wrapped up into one,"  Airmen McCullough said.

Col Michael Lawrence,  the 366th Maintenance Commander says that the deployment was outstanding for his people and overall the deployment is a success. The joint forces mission was primarily a training and security mission for the F15 E Strike Eagle squadron.
