Threatening phone call made to Mountain View High School

MERIDIAN, Idaho (KBOI) - Students and staff members at Mountain View High School were kept from coming or going Wednesday after a threatening phone call was made.

Meridian Police says someone called the school and threatened to harm everyone inside.

The district then placed the school in its shelter in place mode, which keeps anyone from entering or leaving the school. School proceeded to continue as normal.

MPD says additional officers were dispatched to the high school until students left for the day. Officials are working with the phone company to try and track down the phone number.
