Recognize him? Cops say he called woman 'N' word at traffic stop

NAMPA, Idaho (KBOI) - Nampa Police has released a composite sketch of a man suspected of harrassing a woman, including calling her the "N" word.

Nampa PD says on Oct. 3, the victim saw the suspect driving aggressively around her on 12th Avenue Road near the Nampa Rec Center.

The victim told police the suspect was driving a dark colored, larger SUV. When the two were stopped in traffic, the suspect approached her vehicle in an "aggressive fashion, both physically and verbally."

Anyone who witnessed the incident or recognizes the suspect, who's wanted for malicious harrassment, is asked to call 343-COPS.

What is Malicious Harassment?

Malicious harassment defined -- Prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any person, maliciously and with the specific intent to intimidate or harass another person because of that person's race, color, religion, ancestry, or national origin, to:

  • Cause physical injury to another person; or
  • Damage, destroy, or deface any real or personal property of another person; or
  • Threaten, by word or act, to do the acts prohibited if there is reasonable cause to believe that any of the acts described in subsections (a) and (b) of this section will occur.
