Deputies: Man killed after early morning crash
CALDWELL, Idaho - A 27-year-old Nampa man was killed in a crash late Monday evening, the Canyon County Sheriff's Office says.
Deputies say just before midnight, Angel Lopez was driving on Franklin Road east of the Sorrento Lactalis Cheese Factory when he left the road and hit a telephone pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies say alcohol was more than likely a factor in the crash.
