BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Nampa Police says a 37-year-old woman was shot Thursday evening and now officers are looking for her husband.

Police say they were called to a home on the 400 block of Cedar Park Lane just after 5:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they say they found a 37-year-old woman who had been shot.

She has been transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.

Police say they are looking for the victim's husband, Raudel Gonzalez, 45, who's now wanted for aggravated battery.

Police say there were also four children inside the home at the time of the shooting.

Officers describe Gonzalez as being 5'7" tall, 205 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police originally said he could be driving a gray 1989 Nissan Sentra with a white hood, license plate # 2C DZ528.

Friday afternoon, police said that witnesses had spotted the car parked near Iowa Avenue and Midway Road in Nampa.

When police arrived they found the Nissan Sentra, but it appeared to have been abandoned in a secluded area.
