Officers looking for driver in multi-vehicle crash hit and run

MERIDIAN, Idaho (KBOI) -- Officers say they are looking for the driver of a hit and run crash that sent one man to the hospital late Thursday night.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. at the corner of Eagle and Ustick Road in Meridian. Meridian Police said an older model Tacoma truck hit a car, which started a chain reaction. The truck officers say they're looking for is white with a blue stripe, and has damage on the front end. It's either a 1980 or 1990 model.

Meridian Police said the driver of the truck hit a car, which hit two others. The car initially hit was driven by an elderly man, who officers said was sent to the hospital. He appeared to to have non-life threatening injuries. His car sustained major back and front end damage.

If you have any information on the truck's whereabouts, or the driver, you're asked to call police.
