Placer Fire burning south of Idaho City
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - A wildfire believed to have started by lightning overnight is burning south of Idaho City.

Boise National Forest officials say the Placer Fire has burned about 75 acres north of the Thorn Creek subdivision.

Fire crews are responding with three air tankers, two helicopters, two engines, and a ground crew.

Officials say no structures are threatened at this time and no roads have been closed.

Forest officials say that the fire isn't growing very quickly right now.
