Prosecutor: Haunted house worker pleads guilty to sex with teen
CALDWELL, Idaho (KBOI) - An Oregon registered sex offender has pleaded guilty to having sex with an underage teen.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Joshua James Stueckle, 28, drove to the Caldwell Rotary Ponds on Chicago Street with a 16-year-old female back in October. The teen told police that the two had sexual contact, according to court documents obtained by KBOI-TV.
Police later located Stueckle while he was working at the Haunted World in Caldwell.
Prosecutors say Stueckle pleaded guilty to one count of sexual battery with a child 16 or 17 years of age. In exchange for the guilty plea, prosecutors dropped a second similar charge.
Stueckle still faces federal charges for failure to register as a sex offender. He's scheduled to return to court April 17 and is being held on a $500,000 bond.
