RICHFIELD, Idaho (KBOI) - A head-on crash on US Highway 26 near Richfield left a 92-year-old man dead Sunday afternoon.
Idaho State Police say 92-year-old Donald Riley was driving east on 720 North in a Kawasaki Mule ATV. Officers say Riley did not yield at the intersection crossing US-26, and collided head-on with a Ford F150 pickup truck driven by 19-year-old Juan Linares Nava of Richfield.
Police say Riley, who was also from Richfield, was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, and died from his injuries at the scene.
Both lanes of US-26 were blocked while officeres investigated.
