Sex offender tried to entice teen girl over the Internet, police say
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A registered sex offender who is on parole was arrested in Garden City over the weekend after police received a tip he was soliciting a 15-year-old girl through social media.
Sgt. John Goodman says 33-year-old Robert S. Miller was arrested at a motel. Miller was booked into the Ada County jail and faces a charge of enticement over the Internet. He was expected to be arraigned Monday.
Police say the girl who had been communicating with Miller never had any contact with him.
