BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - A man suspected of aiding and abetting a double homicide in Boise earlier this year won't face the death penalty if he's found guilty.

Ada County Prosecutors made the announcement Thursday in court.

Thirty-four-year-old Samari Winn has been charged with two counts of aiding and abetting murder and one count of aiding and abetting attempted murder.

On May 8, Boise Police says 28-year-old Elliott Bailey and 27-year-old Travontae Calloway died of multiple gunshot wounds at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.

A woman was injured but survived the shooting.

Prosecutors say Winn led 44-year-old John C. Douglas to the victims and that Douglas shot the two. Douglas was arrested in Pennsylvania but is currently fighting extradition.
