BOISE - Police are searching for Luke Christopher Cross following a series of high end bike thefts. Cross is currently wanted for felony grand theft, aggravated assault and malicious injury to property with a $250,000 bond.

The suspect is accused of trying to sell a stolen bike at a local pawn shop on Nov. 1st. When an employee recognized the bike as stolen, witnesses say Cross broke a large glass door while trying to leave before police arrived. He's also accused of trying to hit a store employee with his car in the parking lot.

Officers said they have evidence the most recent rash of bike thefts connected to Cross began in mid-September. Investigators believe the thefts are drug related.

Cross is known to frequent Boise and the Twin Falls and Burley areas.
