The traditional Rocky Mountain Oyster Feed was in full swing Saturday at Merrill Park, serving up oysters by the plateful.
The feed is an annual fundraiser for Eagle’s Volunteer Fire Department and was held at the Eagle Fun Days.
Kolby Kerbs coordinated the Oyster Feed, and said it is hard to sell oysters alongside food carts that serve up hamburgers.
“To sell bull oysters is a difficult task, but the community rallies around it,” said Kerbs said. “It's outstanding. People look forward to this event every year, and we enjoy having them out."
The Rocky Mountain Oyster Feed helps cover the cost of training for the Eagle Volunteer Fire Dept., as well as provides funding for uniforms and equipment.
