MERIDIAN, Idaho (KBOI) --- Several cars received minor damage after a semi struck the Meridian Interchange overpass -- knocking concrete and other debris onto the interstate below.
Officials say northbound traffic over the interstate has been shut down, while two lanes of westbound lane of Interstate-84 are blocked and or restricted. No injuries were reported.
Idaho State Police says a 26-year-old Nampa man was driving the semi truck with an excavator, which had its arm extended, when it went hit the overpass. The debris caused damage to three other vehicles.
ITD says engineers are at the scene determining whether the bridge suffered any structural damage.
