Upgrades coming to Simplot Sports Complex

Upgrades coming to Simplot Sports Complex
BOISE, Idaho - Boise Parks and Recreation is updating their master plan for the Simplot Sports Complex.

Parents tell us that parking is a Saturday morning nightmare.

Over 700 kids come out to play baseball each week, add in the kids playing soccer and cars overflow into neighborhoods.

Parks and Rec's new plan includes more parking, restrooms, covered picnic areas for shade, and new buildings for concessions and meetings.

"It's a great complex to begin with. By adding parking spaces, adding shade, adding maintenance facilities and restrooms, it's a home run," said Cal Ripken Baseball board member, Michael Sullivan.
