BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Officials with ValleyRide have released dramatic video of a bus crashing into Idaho Power last month.

The footage begins with the bus heading north on 13th Street around 6:30 a.m. on Jan. 6, then it veers onto the sidewalk. The driver curses as the bus takes out a light pole and two trees.

It creates a path of destruction as it crosses a parking lot and then Main Street. The bus hit four curbs, two light poles and five trees before slamming into the Idaho Power building, according to the Idaho Transportation Department crash report.

The 26-second clip includes about 15 seconds of mayhem before a tree knocks out the bus camera.

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after the bus crashed.

Police charged the driver of the bus, Fatangia Moala, 59, with negligent driving. Investigators say Moala closed his eyes as he nodded off just before the bus went off the road.

The ITD report says there were eight passengers on the bus.
