Power out, trees down as wind storm rips through valley
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The wind storm Thursday evening caused multiple power outages in the Boise area.

KBOI Meteorologist Bob Anthony says that the wind came from outflow from a thunderstorm that blew through eastern Oregon Thursday afternoon.

Winds peaked at 54 miles per hour at the Boise Airport. Gusts reached as high as 60 mph southeast of Boise.

Visibility was limited to as much as 1/2 mile from the dust.
