BOISE, Idaho -- BOISE, Idaho -- Police arrested a 22-year-old Boise man after they say he left a woman with a life-threatening head injury at the scene of a crash early Sunday morning.
A man walking his dog found the 30-year-old woman laying in front of a house near Maintou Avenue and Garfield Street just before 8 a.m. Saturday.
She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening head injuries.
Police officials said nearby residents reported a motorcycle crash at around 3:30 a.m. that morning about a block and a half from where the woman was found.
Arriving officers found a crashed motor scooter and a short trail of blood. Boise PD officers left after conducting an area search for whoever was riding the scooter.
Investigators later arrested Thomas Macfarlane, 22 of Boise, who they believe was driving the motor scooter at the time of the crash.
He was charged with leaving the scene after an injury crash, which is a felony.
