BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Art in the Park features 260 artists this year. The Boise Art Museum said nearly 70 are new to the event, which is in its 59th year.
A wood craftsman from Star shapes local woods into bowls and other objects.
"It's really interesting to see what people are doing," said Robert Fehlau. "It's fun. I'll actually get a lot of ideas based upon other artists and different mediums."
Fehlau is considered a new artist because he hasn't been at this show, but he said he's been working with wood for 30 years.
Artists from all over the country fill Julia Davis Park with a variety of artwork. The three-day event ends Sunday. Art in the Park opens at 10 a.m. and wraps up at 5 p.m.
