BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- The calls to book a flight for the NCAA tournament in Dayton, Ohio came steadily at Harmon Travel in Boise when we dropped by Monday morning.

And with the suspense of not knowing if Boise State University would be invited until Selection Sunday, the short-notice translated into some hectic planning.

"There's no time to delay and think through and plan," said Bob Harmon of Harmon Travel. "And of course the options are limited. Coming up on Spring Break, the flights were already busy with few seats available on the flights."

Bronco Nation of course has always been crazy about Boise State football and the famous Blue Turf.

But now the spotlight's on the hoop dreams of the Boise State basketball team.

"This is great," said BSU student Shauna Rankin. "I'm really excited for them."

"I'm kind of a Vandal," said Chip Giles of Boise. "But it's good for Idaho when BSU does well. So it's great."

Boise State will need all the skill it can muster and perhaps some leftover luck of the Irish.

The Broncos are 0 for 5 in NCAA tournament play, but many BSU fans believe.

They're buying one-way tickets to Dayton for the time being, hoping BSU knocks off La Salle and advances to a second game in Kansas City.
