Fans optimistic after Broncos top 60 points in home opener

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - The Broncos and their decisive victory put smiles on the faces of many fans Saturday. The home opener was the first time many got to see the team this season.

"We enjoyed seeing Southwick throw that 50-yard pass to #18 and get a score right after," said Carrie Royer of Kuna.

Boise State fan were ready to wash off last week's loss.

"I was worried because they didn't look like a BSU offense against Washington," said Thomas Troutner of Colorado, "and to actually see good production and a high point total, it was like, 'Yes, offense is back.' Back on track."

Attendance at the game topped 33,000, just a few thousand below stadium capacity.
