Seven people in the hospital after rollover crash on I-84

ELMORE COUNTY, Idaho (KBOI) - The Elmore County Sheriff's Office says 7 people are in the hospital following a rollover crash near Mountain Home. There were 2 adults and 5 children in the vehicle at the time of the wreck.

It happened around 5 pm. Investigators say the driver of the SUV lost control and drove off the interstate, causing the vehicle to roll several times finally coming to rest on its roof.

The adult woman in the front passenger seat was not wearing her seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.

Two people were taken by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise. The other 5 people involved in the crash were taken to the hospital by ground ambulance.

The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. The investigation remains on-going.
