MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — Idaho defensive back Shiloh Keo has been suspended for half a game for a blow to the head of Boise State's quarterback in last Friday's game in Moscow.

Western Athletic Conference commissioner Karl Benson issued the suspension on Wednesday. Benson originally suspended Keo for one game, but the decision was appealed by Idaho and reduced to a half-game by the WAC Sportsmanship Committee.

The play occurred in the fourth quarter when Keo delivered a blow to the head of Michael Coughlin as the Boise State quarterback attempted to run for a first down.

Keo will be suspended for the first half of Saturday's game at Utah State.
