BOISE--For the second year in a row a key contributor to the broncos may be jumping early to the NFL.
Last season, Ryan Clady and Orlando Scandrick left early, and multiple sources say star wide receiver Jeremy Childs is planning on doing the same.
In fact, Scandrick, Childs close friend and currently a cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys, said today Childs is, "planning on going pro," but does want to keep his options open to return for his senior season.
The two are working out together as Childs awaits his grades from the NFL's early entry committee, which advises players on their possible draft position.
The Bronco football office was not able to tell me if they have heard one way or the other regarding Childs, most of them haven't talked to him since the poinsettia bowl.
He has until the the NFL's January 15th deadline to declare.
