PARMA - Boise's triathlon wasn't the only "ironman" competition in the treasure valley this week. Many of the best shooters in the country spent the week in Parma at what's known as the MGM Ironman.
Competitors will likely fire around 1500 rounds each of handgun, rifle and shotgun ammunition.
It's not just target practice, either - participants run gauntlets similar to some police training exercises as well as fire from moving platforms and while sliding down a zip line.
J Bates spent a day in Parma checking things out - watch the video to see the shooters in action!
